The Beaudin Story
Beaudin was founded in 2013 by a mother-daughter team who were looking for something beyond the corporate world. Shirley and Meredith quickly came to realize the best way to accomplish this was to create their own product line. From the first product to the last, each one is designed with the customer in mind and made to last a lifetime. No matter how or when you’ve bought a Beaudin product, you’ve purchased something that supports small ideas turning into something incredible.
Having walked through trials of their own, Shirley and Meredith recognized there was a greater purpose to the work they had begun. With this, Beaudin began to be transformed into a true ministry, where the two could walk with ladies in similar situations through what could be the most difficult transition of their lives. Ultimately, the two found that Beaudin was Made to Free the Captive.
Beaudin has dedicated its walls to the liberation of women from all walks of life. Specifically, we provide training and employment for those in difficult situations. We hope to inspire all of our employees with tangible skills they can carry through the rest of their lives. In 2014, Beaudin partnered with Out of Darkness, the anti-trafficking ministry of Atlanta Dream Center, to expand ministry efforts beyond our walls. Out of Darkness specifically aims to reach, rescue, and restore lives bound by this affliction. At Beaudin, a portion of all proceeds goes to Out of Darkness to support these efforts for the betterment of our local and global community.
As Beaudin expanded, we moved from a basement to a full studio in 2017! Every Beaudin product is handmade by our girls in this little white studio. Through our handcrafting process, each stitch, rivet, and tag is specifically placed to meet our high expectations of quality. Whenever possible, our supplies are sourced from US companies, and all our products are handmade here in Atlanta, GA.
